Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time Class Teacher to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning, contributing to the academic and personal development of our pupils. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and looking for a flexible working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all pupils.
  • Assess, record, and report on the progress of pupils to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil development.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
