About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated 1-1 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Hertfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with children who require additional support, helping them to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to a child with additional needs on a one-to-one basis
- Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for the child
- Monitor and report on the child's progress
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Proven experience working with children with SEN
- A compassionate and patient approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
