Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and creative Music Teacher to join our dynamic team in Bletchley, Milton Keynes. This is a full-time, permanent position, starting in January. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education and a genuine enthusiasm for fostering a love for music in students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality music lessons across a range of year groups and abilities.
  • Develop students' practical and theoretical music skills, encouraging both individual and group performance.
  • Assess, track, and provide feedback on student progress, ensuring each pupil reaches their full potential.
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment, fostering creativity and musical exploration.
  • Participate in school concerts, productions, and extra-curricular music activities.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to support the development of the music curriculum and department.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification with a specialism in Music.
  • Experience teaching Music at the secondary school level is desirable.
  • Proficiency in a range of instruments and music genres.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to promoting the importance of music education.
