Position Overview:
An Ofsted-rated Good school in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of Maths to join their team from January or Easter 2024 (depending on candidate availability). The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engaging maths lessons, promoting numerical skills, and encouraging analytical thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality maths lessons to students across a range of abilities.
- Foster a positive learning environment that motivates students to achieve their best.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to support individual learning goals.
- Work collaboratively with the maths department to improve teaching strategies and curriculum delivery.
- Engage in school activities and support students in both academic and personal development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Maths.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching mathematics.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality education and student achievement.
- Previous experience teaching maths at the secondary level is desirable.
