Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our l school in Kettering. This is a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one help to pupils with learning difficulties.
  • Assist in small group activities to ensure participation.
  • Maintain a safe, engaging learning environment.
  • Coordinate with teachers and parents.
  • Track and report pupil progress.
  • Adapt teaching materials for pupil needs.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 months experience working in education in the UK.
  • A minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent).
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent qualification.
  • Valid DBS on update Service(advantageous).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of various learning difficulties such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Dyslexia and Speech and Language difficulties.
