Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our l school in Kettering. This is a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one help to pupils with learning difficulties.
- Assist in small group activities to ensure participation.
- Maintain a safe, engaging learning environment.
- Coordinate with teachers and parents.
- Track and report pupil progress.
- Adapt teaching materials for pupil needs.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 months experience working in education in the UK.
- A minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent).
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent qualification.
- Valid DBS on update Service(advantageous).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of various learning difficulties such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Dyslexia and Speech and Language difficulties.
