Location: Waltham Forest
Salary: £90 - £110 per day
Contract: Full-time, Term-time Only

About the Role

As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and safe environment that encourages both learning and play. You will be responsible for delivering a range of creative and engaging activities, both indoors and outdoors, that cater to the diverse needs and interests of the children. You will be expected to develop strong relationships with staff, children, and parents alike, ensuring open communication and a collaborative approach to each child's development. In addition, your role will involve safeguarding responsibilities, maintaining the well-being and conduct of all pupils under your care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver a variety of fun and stimulating activities that foster learning, growth, and curiosity in children.
  • Demonstrate good to outstanding practices within the classroom and play areas.
  • Establish strong relationships with staff, children, and parents, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment.
  • Uphold and follow safeguarding practices at all times.
  • Maintain a high level of organization and proactivity, adapting to the needs of each child and the school community.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualifications: NNEB, CACHE Level 3, or NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a nursery, childcare, or similar setting.
  • Commitment to Safeguarding: A valid DBS on the Update Service
