Salary: £85-100 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Role Overview: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and emotional development of primary school students. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide inclusive learning opportunities, ensuring that every child can achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting teachers in delivering lessons and activities tailored to individual and group learning needs.
  • Assisting with the planning, preparation, and delivery of learning materials under the guidance of teaching staff.
  • Providing 1:1 support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behavioural strategies.
  • Promoting a positive learning environment and encouraging student engagement and participation.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a primary school setting is essential.
  • A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine interest in supporting children's learning and development.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students and the school community.
  • Knowledge and experience of supporting SEN students, both in groups and on a 1:1 basis.
