Role Overview:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in providing one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs (SEN) or disabilities. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic development of all students.

Requirements:

  • 6 months experience working in a UK Nusery setting.
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in a similar role is desirable (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent).
  • Enhanced DBS.
  • Good understanding of the curriculum.
  • Knowledge of different learning difficulties and disabilities(desirable).

Responsibilities:

  • Helping students with personal care and social skills.
  • Creating and adapting resources to meet individual student needs.
  • Providing feedback to teachers and parents on student progress.
  • Participating in training and development opportunities.
