About Us

At an amazing primary school, located in the vibrant community of Aylesbury, they are dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for their youngest learners. They believe in laying strong foundations for lifelong learning and are now seeking an inspiring and experienced Lead Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to lead the Pre-School team.




The Role

As the Lead Teacher for Pre-School, you will:

  • Develop and deliver a creative and engaging curriculum that meets the needs of all pre-school children.
  • Lead and manage the Pre-School team, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for both children and staff.
  • Work closely with parents and carers to build strong partnerships and support children's development.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, ensuring each child's individual needs are met.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a seamless transition for children moving into primary education.
  • Promote best practices in early childhood education and stay updated with the latest educational research and trends.



About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and significant experience in early years education.
  • A passion for early childhood development and a commitment to providing high-quality education.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
  • A thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
