Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire KS2 pupils.
Provide a well-rounded curriculum that supports both academic and personal growth.
Prepare pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments (SATs), ensuring strong progress and achievement.
Create an inclusive and positive classroom atmosphere where all students can reach their full potential.
Monitor and assess students' progress, offering constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enhance the learning experience.
Take part in whole-school events, extra-curricular activities, and staff meetings.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum, with a focus on literacy and numeracy.
Ability to tailor teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of all pupils.
Passion for nurturing children's confidence, resilience, and love for learning.
Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of behaviour.
Applicants must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
Ability to provide two years' worth of references.
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to engaging with parents and the wider school community.
