Salary: MPS, up to M6 (Pro Rata) depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire and motivate KS2 pupils
  • Provide a balanced curriculum, focusing on both academic and personal development
  • Prepare pupils for their end-of-key-stage assessments (SATs), ensuring high standards of progress and achievement
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enhance pupils' learning experience
  • Participate in whole-school events, extra-curricular activities, and staff meetings

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum, particularly in literacy and numeracy
  • Ability to differentiate teaching to meet the diverse needs of all pupils
  • Passion for developing children's confidence, resilience, and love for learning
  • Excellent classroom management skills with a commitment to maintaining high standards of behaviour
  • Applicants must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Ability to supply two years' worth of references
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to working with parents and the wider school community
