KS1 Teacher

Dunbar Education is delighted to recruit on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Walsall for an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher. This full-time position is to cover a maternity leave, starting in April 2025, and offers a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team on a long-term basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for Key Stage 1 pupils.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assess and track pupil progress in line with the national curriculum.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth transition during the maternity cover period.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience in KS1.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a passion for early years education.
  • Ability to adapt and build relationships quickly within an established team.
