KS1 Class Teacher - Primary School Based in Chalfont St Giles

Location: Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire, UK

Position: KS1 Class Teacher - ECT Welcome!

Start Date: September 2024

Salary: MPS/UPS, depending on experience

A wonderful Primary School in Chalfont St Giles is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Class Teacher to join the supportive and dynamic team. The school is committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can flourish academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student development.
  • Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - ECT Welcome!
  • Experience teaching KS1 is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • A passion for fostering a love of learning in young children.
