Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in both History and Geography, aligned with the national curriculum.
- Teach students of varying abilities, fostering an understanding of historical events and geographical concepts.
- Encourage critical thinking and analytical skills through discussions, projects, and activities.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, respect, and collaboration.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Humanities curriculum.
- Participate in school events and contribute to extracurricular activities related to History and Geography.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in both History and Geography.
