Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Classroom Learning: Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons across all primary year groups, ensuring all students receive a high-quality education.
  • Lead Small Group Sessions: Take charge of small group sessions and interventions to support students' learning and development.
  • Plan and Prepare Lessons: Work collaboratively with teachers to plan and prepare lessons, activities, and resources that meet the diverse needs of our students.
  • Monitor Student Progress: Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Foster a Positive Learning Environment: Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where every student feels valued and motivated.
  • Support School Activities: Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development sessions to stay informed and contribute to the school's ongoing success.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential:

    • Level 4 HLTA qualification.
    • Experience working in a primary school setting.
    • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Desirable:

    • Experience leading small group interventions and supporting diverse learning needs.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
