Are you an experienced General Teaching Assistant with a passion for helping children overcome challenges and achieve their full potential? Dunbar Education is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a fantastic 2-form entry primary school in Northampton, looking for a dedicated and resilient TA to join their team.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity to work in a nurturing and dynamic school environment. As a General TA, you'll work closely with teachers and support staff to assist pupils across the school, including those facing challenging behaviour. Your role will be crucial in fostering a positive and engaging atmosphere where every child can succeed.

What You'll Do

  • Support class teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support for pupils with behavioural challenges.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils to help them overcome barriers to learning.
  • Contribute to creating a calm and structured learning environment.

About You

We're looking for a General TA who:

  • Has experience working in a primary school setting.
  • Is skilled in managing and positively influencing challenging behaviour.
  • Demonstrates empathy, resilience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Thrives as part of a supportive team and is committed to making a difference in the lives of children.
