Position based in Winslow: Lower KS2 Class Teacher

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Start Date: September 2024

Are you a dedicated and passionate educator eager to inspire young minds? Primary School based in Winslow is seeking an enthusiastic Lower KS2 Class Teacher to join the committed team and contribute to our vibrant learning community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum for Lower KS2.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help every child reach their full potential.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and student well-being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student achievement and development.
  • Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting, particularly in Lower KS2.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Enthusiasm for fostering a love of learning and encouraging student curiosity.
