Job Description

Dunbar Education are currently working with an Ofsted rated Good school who are now seeking a Food Technology Teacher to join their team now or January. This role would be suitable for a graduate, ECT or experience teacher. The school are also open to a long term or permanent contract.

You will be joining a supportive team who are committed to ensuring the best outcomes for our students. Their Creative Studies team enjoys the use of specialist facilities including a fully equipped kitchen and preparation area as well as full time technicians to support teachers with lesson preparation and practical lessons.

During Food Technology pupils are taught the importance of healthy eating and the principles of nutrition. Making a range of predominantly savoury dishes, pupils are encouraged to explore flavours and textures whilst learning a variety of cooking techniques to give them life skills as well as prepare them for GCSE qualifications.
