About the Role

  • Deliver engaging Food Technology lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Plan and implement lessons that foster creativity, skill development, and a deep understanding of nutrition and food preparation.
  • Assess and track student progress, offering support to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Contribute to the development of the Food Technology curriculum and resources.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic classroom environment, adhering to health and safety standards.

About You

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Food Technology within a UK secondary school setting is desirable.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching practical and theoretical aspects of Food Technology.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a commitment to student achievement.
  • A dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
