Dunbar Education is searching for an enthusiastic and experienced English Teacher to join one of our exceptional secondary schools in Northampton. This role is available on a long-term or permanent contract, offering a fantastic opportunity to inspire and educate students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 being desirable.
- Create engaging lesson plans that cater to students of varying abilities.
- Assess and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
- Maintain high expectations for student behaviour and academic achievement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and enhance the English curriculum.
Who We Are Looking For:
- A passionate English Teacher with at least 6 months of UK classroom experience.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- A proactive and engaging teaching style that motivates students.
