ECT - Final Year Students

Job Description

We are looking for candidates that have finished their final year studies as a ECT looking to start in September.

We have positions available across Bedford which are full-time and permanent, so the ideal candidates will have their QTS and relevant degree within Education, a minimum of 6 months experience teaching (this can be in your placement or previous experience in a school).

You will have the full duties of a qualified teacher with the first two years as an ECT being developed further into a fantastic Teacher.

The candidates day-to-day responsibilites are:

  • Planning, prepping and delivering high-quality lessons
  • Marking class and homework and feedbacking to the pupils, parents and co-teachers
  • Practicing various teaching methods to suit the individual needs of the pupils
  • Keeping the behaviour contained and being aware of potential disputes to resolve
  • Tidy the classroom at the end of the lessons and organising lessons/activies prior
  • Safeguarding at all times

The requirements to apply is:

  • QTS and relevant degree
  • 6 months minimum experience teaching in a primary school or placement
  • DBS on the update service
  • available full-time from September
