Dunbar Education is actively seeking an Early Years Practitioner for a primary school located in Wellingborough. We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual to join the team, contributing to the early development and education of young children.

Role Overview:

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional care and education to children aged 0-5 years. Your role will involve implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can thrive through play-based learning. You will work closely with a team of educators and parents to ensure each child's unique needs are met and their developmental progress is effectively tracked.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and facilitating age-appropriate learning activities.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with children, parents, and carers.
  • Adhering to all safeguarding, health, and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conducting regular observations, assessments, and progress reports for each child.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 months' experience in a UK primary school.
  • Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
  • A valid DBS on the Update Service.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
