Dunbar Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join a primary school in Northampton. This role involves making a significant impact on the early development of children aged 0-5 years by providing high-quality care and education.
Role Summary:
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional care and educational experiences for young children. Your responsibilities will include creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment that supports learning through play. You will implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, ensuring a supportive setting that encourages growth and development. Collaboration with fellow educators and parents will be key to addressing each child's unique needs and tracking their progress.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social and intellectual development.
- Observe, assess, and provide feedback on each child's progress to parents and guardians.
- Work effectively with a team of practitioners to maintain a cohesive and supportive atmosphere.
- Create positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Participate in required training and professional development sessions.
Requirements:
- A recognised qualification in Early Years Education minimum Level 2 or ( Level 3 in Childcare, CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education and Care or Equivalent).
- At least 6 months of experience in a UK nursery or early years setting, implementing the EYFS framework.
- Comprehensive knowledge of child development and the early years curriculum.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, positive and adaptable approach.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
