Early Years Practitioner

Job Description

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years. You will implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn and develop through play-based activities. Working collaboratively with a team of educators and parents, you will ensure each child's individual needs are met and their progress is monitored effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote children's physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development.
  • Monitoring and recording children's progress, maintaining accurate developmental records.
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to support a cohesive learning environment.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in your care, adhering to safeguarding and health and safety policies.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a nursery or early years setting, implementing the EYFS framework.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and commitment to providing exceptional care.
