Early Years Support Assistant

Are you a Nursery Support Assistant seeking a fulfilling role in Kettering?

We are looking for dedicated individuals to aid in the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) within a local nursery. If you are enthusiastic about early childhood education and wish to make a positive impact on young learners and a proven ability providing one to one support, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Requirements:

  • Experience in a UK Nursery Assistant role or similar positionwith 1:1 Support.
  • Valid DBS check on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in an educational setting.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the lead educator in delivering the EYFS curriculum effectively.
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children.
  • Provide tailored support to a pupil in EYFS (reception year) who faces challenges in interacting with peers, including in-class support and one-on-one activities.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of engaging educational experiences.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of professionals to foster positive outcomes for every child

Location: This position is based in Kettering, allowing you to contribute to the local community by supporting young learners on their educational journey.
