Dunbar Education is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Drama Teacher to join an outstanding grammar school in Chesham. This temporary role is ideal for a passionate educator with a proven track record in teaching drama at the secondary level. The position is available for an immediate start and will continue until the end of the academic year.

Position: Supply Drama Teacher

Location: Chesham

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: End of the academic year

About the Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality drama lessons to secondary school students, covering the curriculum effectively and inspiring students to achieve their best. This role is pivotal in maintaining the exceptional standards of the school's drama department during the absence of the permanent teacher.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience teaching drama at the secondary level is essential.
  • Non-QTS candidates will be considered based on relevant experience and expertise.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students, fostering a love for drama and the performing arts.

Remuneration:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) candidates will be paid according to the Main Pay Scale (MPS) / Upper Pay Scale (UPS).
  • Unqualified teachers will receive a competitive day rate starting at £130/day.
