Role Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor with Dunbar Education, you will be responsible for managing classrooms, ensuring students remain engaged with their learning during the absence of their regular teachers. This role is perfect for individuals with a passion for education and the flexibility to adapt to different school environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons to students across various subjects and year groups.
- Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment.
- Follow school policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive learning atmosphere.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, using appropriate strategies and techniques.
- Provide feedback to teachers regarding any issues or achievements during their absence.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 months experience as a Cover Supervisor.
- Considerable overseas experience is highly regarded.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Flexibility to work on an ad-hoc basis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
