Job Title: School Administrator

Location: Primary School, Waltham Forest

Job Type: Full-time

Start Date: September

We are seeking a dedicated and organised School Administrator to join our vibrant primary school in Waltham Forest. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school office, supporting both staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update/input and manage all pupil data held on the management information system (Arbor) in school
  • Assisting with enrolment and admissions processes
  • Handling enquiries via phone, email, and in-person
  • Produce all necessary statutory returns within deadlines e.g. CENSUS, EY Headcount, Attendance and upload to relevant locations
  • Supporting the Headteacher and other senior staff with administrative tasks
  • Maintaining accurate records of student attendance and progress
  • Under the direction of management, assist in the administration and implementation of the Local Authority's admission policy

Requirements:

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and school management software
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
  • A friendly and approachable manner with a commitment to providing excellent service
  • Experience of using computerised systems, (SIMS, databases).
