Cover Supervisor
Location: Gosport
Salary: £19,239 - £20,522 (pro-rata, dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent (Term Time Only)
Hours: 33 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Start Date: January 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our thriving 11-16 mixed academy in Gosport. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support student learning and contribute to a positive school environment.Role Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring student engagement
- Support student learning by providing guidance and assistance
- Manage classroom behavior effectively
- Assist with preparation of learning materials
- Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and behavior
- Support extracurricular activities
Skills and Experience You'll Need:
- GCSE minimum grade C or equivalent functional skills in English and Maths
- Understanding of child development, thinking, and learning processes
- Ability to manage groups of children effectively
- Passion for helping every child achieve beyond their perceived limits
- Commitment to breaking down barriers to learning
- Strong commitment to safeguarding
- Determination to secure positive progress and high aspirations for students
- Dedication to nurturing children's happiness and enjoyment of school and life
