Position Overview:

Are you passionate about education and seeking a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in schools in your area? We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our team for day-to-day supply work across various schools in the Birminham area. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continuity of education when teachers are absent.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage classroom activities, ensuring students stay on task with their learning.
  • Deliver preprepared lesson plans and resources, maintaining classroom order and discipline.
  • Support students' learning and respond to any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Follow school policies and procedures to ensure a safe and positive learning environment.
  • Provide feedback to the regular teacher about student progress and any issues that arise.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with secondary school students, ideally in a supervisory or educational support role is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a classroom.
  • Ability to adapt to different subjects and teaching styles as required.
  • A flexible and reliable approach to work, with the ability to cover at short notice.
  • A genuine passion for education and helping students succeed.
