Cover Supervisor

Job Description

Dunbar Education is recruiting a Cover Supervisor for a primary school based in Kettering. They are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join their team and make a difference.

Role Overview:As a Cover Supervisor,you will be essential in ensuring the smooth delivery of lessons when regular teachers are absent.


Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and managing classroom activities, ensuring students stay focused on their work.
  • Implementing pre-set lesson plans and maintaining an encouraging learning environment.
  • Assisting in both the academic and social development of students.
  • Working closely with teaching staff to ensure lessons are delivered effectively.
  • Adhering to school policies, particularly in relation to safeguarding and behavior management.

Requirements:
6 months plus experience working in a UK Primary School.
Strong skills in classroom management.
Valid DBS on update Service.
The ability to engage, inspire and motivate students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
A strong commitment to the education and well-being of students.
