We are seeking dynamic and adaptable Supply Class Teachers to join our network of highly regarded, Ofsted Outstanding-rated schools across all areas of London. This role offers flexibility and variety, allowing you to work in different schools, and with both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students. We welcome applications from teachers seeking either full-time or part-time opportunities.

Role Overview:

As a Supply Class Teacher, you will step into classrooms across London, delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring continuity of education when permanent teachers are unavailable, adapting quickly to different school settings and student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching: Deliver high-quality lessons to KS1 and KS2 students across various schools, ensuring a smooth transition for students during periods of teacher absence.
  • Classroom Management: Effectively manage classroom behavior, maintaining a safe and conducive learning environment in line with each school's policies.
  • Adaptability: Quickly adapt to different school environments, curricula, and student needs, ensuring continuity and minimal disruption to learning.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other staff and follow existing lesson plans, or create engaging lessons when required, to meet the diverse needs of students.

Requirements:

  • QTS and PGCE: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) are essential for this role.
  • DBS Check: A valid and up-to-date DBS check is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience teaching in KS1 and/or KS2 is highly desirable. However, we also welcome applications from newly qualified teachers with the flexibility and enthusiasm to thrive in a variety of settings.
  • Skills: Strong classroom management skills, adaptability, and the ability to quickly build rapport with students and staff in different schools.
