KS2 Class Teacher

A lovely primary school in High Wycombe that is a vibrant and welcoming school dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for the pupils are looking for a Class Teacher. The Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS2 Class Teacher to join the dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to Key Stage 2 pupils, fostering a positive and engaging classroom environment, and supporting the overall development of the pupils.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable targets.
  • Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil learning and well-being.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and practices.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Proven experience teaching within KS2.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment strategies.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and the ethos of lifelong learning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Desirable

  • Experience with integrating technology into the classroom.
  • A passion for extra-curricular activities and the ability to lead clubs or activities.
