About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Business and Economics Teacher to join our forward-thinking team. This is a permanent role starting in September, with both full-time and part-time options available. You will have the opportunity to teach engaging lessons and contribute to the continued success of our Business and Economics Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in Business and Economics across Key Stages 4 and 5.
- Inspire students by bringing real-world business concepts and economic theory into the classroom.
- Plan and assess lessons to meet the needs of learners and align with exam board specifications (e.g., GCSE and A-Level).
- Support students in achieving their academic goals and developing skills for further education or career pathways.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
- Foster a love for business and economics, encouraging critical thinking and practical problem-solving.
What We're Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent) and strong subject knowledge in Business and Economics.
- Experience teaching Business and Economics at Key Stages 4 and 5.
- Enthusiastic, flexible, and committed to raising standards of achievement.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A collaborative team player eager to contribute to the department and the wider school community.
- Experience with exam boards and assessment criteria is highly desirable.
