Job Title: Art Teacher (Supply)
Location: Milton Keynes, Northamptonshire
Placement Type: Temporary, 3 Days Weekly (Until the End of the Academic Year)
Start Date: January 6th (Subject to Compliance)


About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative and passionate Art Teacher to join a Good Ofsted-rated (2024) school in Milton Keynes, Northamptonshire. This temporary, part-time role is ideal for a teacher looking to make a positive impact while maintaining a flexible schedule.


Position Overview

Working three days a week, you will deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons to students across Key Stages. This role involves full teaching responsibilities, including lesson planning, assessments, and classroom management, and is scheduled to continue until the end of the academic year.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative and effective Art lessons that inspire and engage students.
  • Support students in developing their artistic skills and expressing themselves through various media.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to aid their growth.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Art curriculum.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in teaching Art at secondary school level.
  • A passion for the subject and the ability to inspire creativity in students.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Availability to work three days a week and the flexibility to start on January 6th, subject to compliance.
