Job Description:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Art Teacher to join a vibrant school in Bletchley, Milton Keynes. We are seeking a creative and passionate individual to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis starting in January.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver dynamic and creative Art lessons that inspire students across key stages.
- Encourage students to explore different mediums and techniques, helping them to develop their artistic skills.
- Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing support to help them reach their full potential.
- Contribute to the development of the Art curriculum and participate in exhibitions or other creative projects.
- Maintain a stimulating learning environment in the art studio and ensure the safe use of art equipment and materials.
- Participate in extra-curricular activities related to art, including art clubs, school displays, and competitions.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification with a specialism in Art.
- Experience teaching Art at the secondary school level, with a strong portfolio of student work.
- Ability to inspire and engage students in developing their creativity and artistic expression.
- Excellent communication skills and classroom management.
- Commitment to promoting the arts and supporting student achievement.
