Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring art lessons to students across KS3 and KS4
- Foster a creative and inclusive classroom environment that encourages self-expression and artistic growth
- Assess, monitor, and support the progress of students, ensuring they achieve their full potential
- Collaborate with other staff to integrate art into the wider school curriculum and events
- Maintain a safe and organized art classroom, ensuring all materials are managed effectively
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialization in Art or a related subject
- Experience teaching Art at the secondary level, preferably in KS3 and KS4
- Strong classroom management skills and a passion for working with young people
- Creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching, with a commitment to student engagement and progress
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff
