Art Teacher

Job Description

Dunbar Education is seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher for a long-term position at a vibrant secondary school in Wolverhampton. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator to inspire and develop the artistic talents of students in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring art lessons to students across KS3 and KS4
  • Foster a creative and inclusive classroom environment that encourages self-expression and artistic growth
  • Assess, monitor, and support the progress of students, ensuring they achieve their full potential
  • Collaborate with other staff to integrate art into the wider school curriculum and events
  • Maintain a safe and organized art classroom, ensuring all materials are managed effectively

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialization in Art or a related subject
  • Experience teaching Art at the secondary level, preferably in KS3 and KS4
  • Strong classroom management skills and a passion for working with young people
  • Creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching, with a commitment to student engagement and progress
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff
