About Matt
Matt is CEO and Co-Founder of Dunbar Education and leads the operations side of Dunbar Education and iCan Teach UK. He has worked in recruitment since 2006 and education recruitment since 2010.
Matt’s focus is on growing the business, improving how it runs and working closely with the people who make it happen. From developing the team to making day-to-day processes work better, he enjoys building a business that delivers for its schools, candidates and staff.
Outside work, Matt is a father of three young children, so life is rarely quiet. A huge Arsenal fan, he now also manages his son’s Under-7s football team. When he gets the chance, he enjoys playing tennis and golf.

What do you enjoy about your role?
I love working with people and seeing them achieve their goals. My role has evolved over the years, and today I spend much of my time helping the business grow, both operationally and by supporting and developing our team. I enjoy finding ways to make things work better, giving people the support they need and seeing that translate into a better experience for our schools and candidates. There’s always something to work on, and no two days are the same.

What would you do if you won the lottery?
Enjoy some time out with my family, travel and make the most of it. After that, I’d probably start thinking about the next challenge. I enjoy building things and exploring new ideas, so I doubt I’d sit still for too long!
