Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Computing lessons that cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities.
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students in line with school policies.
* Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel encouraged to explore and excel in Computing.
* Contribute to the ongoing development and review of the Computing curriculum, ensuring relevance and engagement.
* Participate in departmental meetings, professional development opportunities, and wider school initiatives.
* Support students in developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and practical computing skills.
About You
* You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a degree in Computing or a closely related field.
* Your subject knowledge in Computing is excellent, covering areas relevant to the secondary curriculum.
* You are an Early Career Teacher (ECT), hold Main Pay Scale (MPS) status, or are on the Upper Pay Scale (UPS).
* You demonstrate a genuine passion for Computing and the ability to inspire this enthusiasm in young people.
* You possess strong classroom management skills and can create a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
* You are committed to continuous professional development and contributing positively to a collaborative team.
