About the Role
A dedicated school is seeking a compassionate 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to provide highly tailored assistance for a secondary pupil with complex needs. This crucial role involves meticulously following EHCP targets, facilitating curriculum access, and actively promoting the pupil's independence and essential life skills. We are offering flexible contract options, including long-term, daily supply, or permanent arrangements, with an immediate start available. The daily rate for this impactful position is between £85 and £110, reflecting your commitment and expertise.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide highly individualised 1:1 support to a secondary pupil with complex needs.
* Diligently implement and monitor the specific targets outlined in the pupil's EHCP.
* Facilitate the pupil's engagement with and access to a broad secondary curriculum.
* Champion the development of independence across academic and social contexts.
* Nurture essential life skills, fostering personal growth and confidence.
* Work collaboratively with class teachers and the wider school support team.

About You
* Possess demonstrable experience supporting young people with Special Educational Needs, particularly complex needs.
* Hold a strong understanding of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and their effective implementation.
* Exhibit exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience when facing diverse situations.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive rapport.
* Be proactive, adaptable, and capable of working effectively on your own initiative
