This vital position involves supporting young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, playing a crucial role in their emotional regulation, behaviour management, and successful reintegration into learning environments. We are looking for an individual available for an ASAP start, with opportunities for a range of contracts including Long Term, Daily Supply, Short Term, and Permanent positions, offering a competitive daily rate of £95 - £120. Key Responsibilities
* Provide consistent, tailored support to secondary pupils experiencing diverse SEMH challenges.
* Implement effective behaviour support strategies, fostering a calm and focused learning atmosphere.
* Facilitate emotional regulation techniques, empowering pupils to develop self-awareness and coping mechanisms.
* Assist in the seamless reintegration of pupils into their academic studies and classroom settings.
* Collaborate proactively with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver individualised support plans.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing valuable insights to ongoing assessments and reviews.
About You
* You possess a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for young people with SEMH needs.
* Demonstrable experience working with secondary-aged pupils, particularly within an SEN context, is essential.
* You exhibit exceptional resilience and a proactive, patient approach to managing complex behaviours.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills allow you to build rapport with pupils, staff, and parents effectively.
