This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive mainstream primary school in the High Wycombe area. You will be instrumental in fostering an engaging learning environment, providing crucial support to pupils across various key stages. We are seeking committed professionals available for immediate starts, with flexible contract options ranging from daily supply to long-term and permanent positions. A competitive daily rate of £95 - £110 is available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Support pupils individually or in small groups to help them achieve their learning objectives.
* Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lesson activities.
* Provide targeted support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), adapting resources as required.
* Encourage positive behaviour and promote a nurturing classroom atmosphere.
* Contribute to the creation of a stimulating and organised learning environment.
* Monitor pupil progress, providing valuable feedback to the teaching staff.
About You
* Possess a relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
* Demonstrate previous experience working within a primary school setting.
* Exhibit a genuine passion for supporting children's development and learning.
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport effectively.
* Show initiative and adaptability, thriving in a dynamic educational environment.
* Hold an understanding of various learning needs, including SEN.
