About the Role
A well-established school in the Marlow area of Buckinghamshire, within the vibrant South East region, is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant. This crucial role involves providing tailored support to primary-aged pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) within a specialist SEN primary school environment. You will work closely with children who have complex learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and speech and language difficulties, offering both one-to-one and small group assistance. Various contract types are available, from daily supply and short-term placements to long-term opportunities and permanent positions, with an attractive daily rate of £90 - £115, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated one-to-one and small group support to primary-aged pupils.
* Assist children presenting with complex learning needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
* Help implement and adapt individualised education plans and strategies.
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
* Collaborate effectively with class teachers and specialist staff to achieve pupil objectives.
* Monitor pupil progress and contribute to feedback on their development.

About You
* Possess demonstrable experience supporting children with special educational needs, particularly within a primary setting.
* A clear understanding of complex learning difficulties such as ASD, ADHD, and speech and language challenges is essential.
* Exhibit exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience when working with diverse pupil needs.
* Demonstrate strong communication skills to engage effectively with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Be a collaborative team player, capable of contributing positively to a supportive school community.
* Show initiative and adaptability, responding thoughtfully to varying situations and requirements.
