Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver innovative Biology lessons that inspire secondary pupils across different key stages.
* Accurately assess pupil learning and provide timely, constructive feedback to facilitate their academic growth.
* Cultivate a dynamic and inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to effective learning and scientific inquiry.
* Contribute collaboratively to the ongoing development of the Science curriculum and departmental resources.
* Engage in wider school life, supporting extracurricular activities and fostering a strong sense of community.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Biology or a related scientific field.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for Biology and a commitment to making the subject accessible and exciting for all pupils.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate learning effectively.
* Be a collaborative team player, eager to share best practice and contribute to a supportive department.
* Show dedication to continuous professional development and a desire to grow as an educator.
* Be suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT), Main Pay Scale (MPS), or Upper Pay Scale (UPS) position.
