We are seeking an enthusiastic Reception Class Teacher to join an ambitious school, offering a nurturing environment for its youngest learners. This primary school is looking for a dedicated professional to inspire curiosity and foster early development within its Early Years Foundation Stage department. We welcome applications for various contract types, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, or a permanent position, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
* Create a stimulating and safe learning environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
* Assess pupil progress effectively, identifying individual needs and next steps.
* Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Contribute actively to the wider school community and its ethos.
* Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all children under your care.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) relevant for primary education in the UK.
* Demonstrate a passion for early years education and child development.
* Have recent experience teaching within a Reception class or EYFS setting.
* Be committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
* Show excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Applications are encouraged from Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as well as experienced teachers at Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS).
