You will be instrumental in fostering a positive learning environment for pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. The position offers flexible contract options, including long-term, daily supply, and permanent opportunities, starting as soon as possible. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver tailored and engaging lessons across the primary curriculum to small groups or individuals.
* Develop therapeutic relationships that support pupil well-being and academic progress.
* Effectively manage challenging behaviours with empathy and consistent, positive strategies.
* Create a nurturing and structured classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
* Assess individual pupil progress and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse needs.
* Collaborate closely with support staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure holistic pupil development.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) ready to embark on a fulfilling journey.
* Possess demonstrable experience working with primary-aged pupils exhibiting SEMH needs.
* Demonstrate exceptional behaviour management skills and a therapeutic approach to education.
* Exhibit a strong commitment to inclusive education and the achievement of every pupil.
* Be resilient, patient, and highly adaptable to diverse classroom situations.
