About the Role
Join a supportive school in Buckinghamshire, South East, where you will provide dedicated specialist support to primary pupils on the autism spectrum within a specialist ASD provision. This vital role involves implementing structured routines, utilising sensory strategies, and fostering effective communication support to ensure every child thrives. We are seeking an individual who can start as soon as possible, with various contract options including long-term, daily supply, short-term, and permanent positions available.

Key Responsibilities
* Implement tailored structured routines to provide predictability and stability for pupils.
* Utilise effective sensory strategies to support pupils' regulation and engagement.
* Provide clear and consistent communication support, adapting to individual pupil needs.
* Assist primary pupils with their learning across a range of subjects and activities.
* Promote pupil independence and self-help skills within the specialist provision.
* Contribute to creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment for all.

About You
* You possess previous experience supporting primary-aged children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
* You demonstrate a genuine passion for working with pupils with special educational needs.
* You are patient, empathetic, and possess an understanding approach to individual pupil requirements.
* You are proactive, adaptable, and capable of responding effectively to varying situations.
* You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
* You are committed to fostering positive relationships and supporting pupil well-being.
