About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to join a highly regarded school in the Aylesbury area. This vital role involves providing tailored support to a secondary pupil with complex needs, fostering their academic and personal growth. Opportunities are available for long-term, daily supply, and permanent contracts, offering a competitive daily rate of £85 - £110. The school is keen to appoint an enthusiastic individual who can start as soon as possible, making a significant impact on a young person's educational journey.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a secondary pupil with complex needs.
* Implement and monitor Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets effectively.
* Facilitate access to the curriculum in various learning environments.
* Promote the development of essential independence and life skills.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff and external professionals.
* Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and well-being.

About You
* Proven experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs, ideally within a secondary setting.
* A strong understanding of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and their implementation.
* An empathetic, patient, and resilient approach to supporting pupils with complex needs.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships.
* A proactive and adaptable mindset, keen to contribute positively to a school community.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
