This rewarding opportunity involves providing essential cover across various mainstream secondary settings, encompassing roles as both a Teacher and a Cover Supervisor. You will have the flexibility to engage in daily supply, short-term assignments, long-term contracts, or even explore permanent prospects. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students across a range of secondary subjects.
* Maintain a positive and productive learning environment in the absence of the regular class teacher.
* Effectively manage classroom behaviour, upholding school policies and fostering respect.
* Provide constructive feedback on student work where required by the specific assignment.
* Collaborate positively with school staff to ensure educational continuity and student wellbeing.
* Adapt quickly to varying school routines and pre-prepared lesson plans.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience in secondary education.
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build immediate rapport.
* Exhibit strong adaptability and resilience when transitioning between different school environments.
* Hold a comprehensive understanding of the secondary curriculum and age-appropriate pedagogy.
* Be committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive atmosphere for all learners.
