About the Role
An innovative school is seeking a dedicated SEN Class Teacher to join its supportive community, working with secondary-aged pupils in the High Wycombe area. This pivotal role involves designing and delivering an adapted curriculum tailored to meet the diverse and complex learning needs of pupils within small group settings. You will be instrumental in fostering an inclusive and stimulating learning environment that truly empowers every pupil to achieve their personal best and make meaningful progress.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver highly engaging and differentiated lessons across a broad curriculum for pupils with complex learning needs.
* Develop and implement individualised learning plans, ensuring all pupils receive targeted support and appropriate challenge.
* Assess pupil progress meticulously, providing regular feedback and adapting teaching strategies to maximise engagement and achievement.
* Cultivate a safe, positive, and inspiring classroom atmosphere where every pupil feels valued and understood.
* Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to pupil development.
* Actively contribute to the wider school community, supporting extracurricular activities and whole-school initiatives.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a genuine passion for special educational needs.
* Demonstrate previous successful experience working with secondary-aged pupils who have a range of complex learning needs.
* Possess a strong understanding of various SEN teaching methodologies and curriculum adaptation strategies.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
* Be highly organised, adaptable, and resilient, capable of thriving in a dynamic and supportive educational environment.
* Show a commitment to continuous professional development and contributing positively to a collaborative team culture.
